This week's pick from the tea sampler was the exotic Egyptian Chamomile. This tea smelled like grass. No, not the kind you smoke, but the kind you mow. I didn't think the tea had any taste at all. Adding a spoon of honey just made it taste like hot water and honey.
Add this one to the no thank you column.
Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.
I usually stick to Earl Grey.

That's my favorite afternoon blend especially with vanilla for a London Fog
DeleteI am such a boring person! I thought of mowed grass...
ReplyDeleteHere Baked Apple tea with milk, yum. Happy T-Day.
Baked apple tea with milk sounds so comforting.
DeleteI wonder if you can make a hot beverage with the other “grass” — I’ve never thought of that.
ReplyDeleteIf you can bake it into brownies, I bet you could make medicinal tea
DeleteGreat to try new teas, but camomile isn't my favourite either 😊. Take care and happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo
DeleteIt doesn't sound very pleasant. I hope you get some good teas out of this sampler. And stay warm. Brrrr. Have a happy T day.
ReplyDeleteBeen outside trying to free the Eldest's car that is frozen to the ice. 🥶Have a cuppa now
DeleteIMHO most of the flavored teas belong in that column. ☹️
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to suspect it's like kale. Everyone raves about it, but no one really likes it. 🤣
