I was beginning to think that all the teas in the tea sampler box were herbal tea. This week's pick is Ceylon and India an Orange Pekoe black tea. The description on the wrapper is Mellow Black Tea. It's a delightful cuppa which reminds me of the Tetley Tea I used to drink. As described a mild tea and perfect with a splash of creamer and sweetener.
This one is a keeper.

Hurrah for getting a tea you like. And I like your mug too. Have a super T day. I was glad to hear that it is rain in the forecast for switch.
ReplyDeleteTeague had mugs made to commemorate out 2023 Camp Ogunquit trip. On the other side is a picture of us at Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse
DeleteI like your still-life photo with blue mug, blue tea pack, and blue flowers!
ReplyDeleteFrom my blue phase 😺
DeleteI wonder, though... don´t the teas influence each other, being separated only by paperbags?
ReplyDeleteThe bags are made of foiled paper
DeleteBlack tea fan here .. i'll have to remember that one... Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteIt was a very nice tea especially for a first cup in the morning.
DeleteSounds yummy! 😊
ReplyDeleteJust a perfect cuppa
DeleteI like your mug and the tea sampler box looks very inviting. Glad you found one you liked. I am drinking white tea at the moment, it's irresistible. Happy T Day!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever had white tea
DeleteSo good that you like this tea since you were a bit disappointed last time. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a relief to find a tea in the box that actually had a taste
DeleteFabulous that you found a tea that you like, we enjoy Ceylon tea black (no milk or sugar) - yum 😊. Wishing you a very Happy T Tuesday! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteI'll have to try that next time
DeleteThat tea sounds nice. Nice blue mug too.
ReplyDeleteHappy T-Day,

DeleteSounds interesting all those types of teas. I've never been a tea drinker ...only coffee however, my youngest son had me try a micro dose of a mushroom tea one time and it was relaxing. I did grow Kombucha and did have that as a type of tea drink. It had a lot of health benefits but for whatever reason I let that go.
ReplyDeleteThe Eldest drinks a mushroom coffee
DeleteGlad you liked this one. You inspired me to buy something different - I didn't find a good sampler but I bought several new teas to try. Take care CJ and happy T-day. Hugz
ReplyDeleteI hope we get to see what you chose
DeleteI love that you’re participating in the T Stands For challenge! It’s a great way to connect with others who share a love for beverages. Do you usually prefer black teas, or do you enjoy exploring other types as well? I’d love to hear what other teas you’ve tried from the sampler!
ReplyDeleteI’ll definitely check out Bleubeard and Elizabeth’s blog to see what everyone else is sipping this week. Happy tea time!
I prefer black tea. My go to tea is English Breakfast which I drink all day long. My favorite blend long before Capt. Picard made it famous is Earl Grey. I especially like it with vanilla and foam or cream to make it a London Fog
DeleteWhat a great find. So glad you found a tea you like. Thanks for sharing it with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.
ReplyDeleteI was afraid the sampler was going to be all herbal teas. The ones that smell pretty but have no taste
DeleteI do like that mug.
ReplyDeleteHappy T Day.
All the best Jan
