Five good things that happened this week.
1. We DoorDashed Valentine's Dinner from a new to us Italian restaurant next town over. Dinner was very yummy and abbondanza. We each got 3 meals out of our dinners.
2. I got a Valentine's Day greeting and chat with the Young One.
3. I received a notice that the cat food order would arrive on Saturday instead of Wednesday of the weather across the country.
4. I was just leaving to go grocery shopping and to pick up some cans of cat food, when UPS brought the package to the door. On Wednesday
5. I hate grocery shopping. Himself usually does that chore, but he's having issues with his knee and can't get around. So I had to go shopping. As I was going around the store I was thinking Look at you! Grocery shopping and sh stuff. You deserve a medal girl!
How was your week?
Your husband sounds like mine. He loves to grocery shop. I go, but I make a mad dash around the store because I really don't like it. And that take out Valentine's Day dinner sounds fantastic. Especially since you got so many meals out of it. Have a super Friday. I waiting to see some sun which is not out from behind the clouds yet.

DeleteMy week was spent FROZEN ... but i know you are usually colder than me so i'll try not to whine too much...lol Our low for two nights was 11F... 11! We never get that cold here.. but i did look it up -4 is the coldest ever here in my area.. water dripping... heat running constantly... finally today we get above freezing... and Sunday is 75F! crazy weather.. but knock on wood

* I finished refurbishing a clay sun i found on FBMarketplace to be more my style..
* Then i found another clay sun needing my tlc in Fredericksburg while we were there for a Valentines Day weekend..
* The Littles are over being sick and we went to go see Paddinton Bear together...
* Hubs and i have missed this last round of sickness...whew! and again Knock on Wood...
My hubby deserves the medal for going shopping with me. Daughter and i always went shopping together until she grew up and moved out. I was kinda lonely shopping by myself so hubs took up that post ever since... You do deserve a medal CJ!!! :) Hugs!deb
I didn't think it got that cold in TX. Whine away. We might get close to 40 on Sunday! Looking forward to that heatwave

DeleteTry going to a better grocery store-- instead of the one you go to which tends to have bland produce and a meat department on the Board of Health's enemy list-- go to Gorettis-- it's only a town over-- it's small, has high quality products, their buyers bring in a lot of unique items, they still have demos, and best of all their employees actually acknowledge you're in the store and are helpful.
