new garden flag
Anne from Anne's Creative Cornucopia had sent me some Fern Leaf Bleeding Heart seeds last year. I planted them as the seeds have to Winter over. I've been looking to see if they are coming up, but all that I see are some blades of grass and crocus. I'm hoping it's still a little too early for them to make an appearance and that my Thumb of Plant Death didn't curse them the way it did last year.
Through the dirty kitchen window, a brilliant, red Cardinal and a Robin.
Almost daffodils
A sprinkling of crocus on the hill
The daffodils starting to bloom
How does your garden grow?
Your daffodils and crocus are so far ahead of mine. Yours are looking beautiful. Spring! You have to love it. Do you have snowflakes in the forecast for tomorrow AM? (The not so beautiful part of spring I guess).
ReplyDeleteAccording to the weather map, they are just North of the Pike so we may miss them.
DeleteSpring is tryin'!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNow, it it would only try a little harder with warmer temps.
DeleteI love your bunny welcome sign and your new flag. I've never been able to grow daffodils and crocus here. Lucky you.
ReplyDeleteWe can't grow tulips because the chippies love tulip bulbs.
DeleteWith all the storms predicted over the last few days ... yesterday we finally scored 4/10th's of an inch ... almost half an inch of rain. The weeds i'm sure will love it... My petunias are showing some new blooms and the sweet potato vine is starting to spread out already... The Viola's or Johnny Jump Ups are enjoying this little couple day cool spell as they really abhor hot weather and will need to be repaced when they start to look raggedy... '
ReplyDeleteI just love your daffodils! We had them in abundance in Arkansas... The one thing the deer/squirrels wouldn't eat...lol Hugs! deb
Yup, the daffs are safe from the critters
DeleteI always enjoy seeing crocus and daffodils.
ReplyDeleteThe garden here is doing well and we've had some glorious Spring sunshine ...
All the best Jan
We need some warmer days and sunshine
DeleteIt's so rewarding - and a relief - when the spring flowers finally put in an appearance.
ReplyDeleteWe can breathe a sigh of relief by the end of the month when the threat of frost is over.
Deletethecontemplativecat here. Such lovely flowers and more on the way. A cardinal and a robin! Haven't seen those in years here in California.
ReplyDeleteNo robins? What's the bird that's the first sign of Spring out there?
DeleteLoving all the beautiful spring flowers in your garden 😊. Glad to see Spring has sprung where you are, that means warmer weathers on the way - yay! Happy wishes ❤️. Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteLove when you post your yard/garden photos. Up here, daffodils are blooming. My neighbor's next door, I can seen them through a bedroom window and they are beautiful. I grow nothing here but I sure did when I lived off the mountain.
