Another tea from the tea sampler. This time a Decaffeinated Earl Grey. Earl Grey has been my favorite blend long before Jean-Luc Picard ordered "Earl Grey, hot" from the replicator.
Opening the tea envelope, the air was delightfully heavy with bergamot. The cup did not disappoint either as there was no discernable difference from caffein to decaf. With a splash of vanilla Truvia (Stevia) and cream, I indulged in a London Fog.
So this makes 2 likes and 4 nopes.
Earl Grey is always good, and so is Lady Grey with a touch of lemon. A nice cup of tea on this grey morning sounds wonderful. Happy T day.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't thrilled with Lady Grey. Did you get snow?
DeleteI love the smell of Earl Grey and drink it with a lemon slice.
ReplyDeleteMaybe something to try this Summer
DeleteHave a great week. I hope you find better teas to please you.
ReplyDeleteWe'll see what happens next week
DeleteYou're a purist. (I'm not fond of the stinky flavored teas either....)

DeleteFabulous, I'm glad you enjoyed your earl grey tea ❤️. I'll opt for something different though as it's not my tea of choice ...lol 😊. Wishing you Happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x

Good choice
DeleteIt's been so long since I had Earl Grey, I don't remember what it tastes like. But I need caffeine or I am not pleasant to be around (grin). Thanks for sharing this Earl Grey tea with us for T this Tuesday. BTW, I love that bird and floral decoration on your table.
ReplyDeleteIt's a Fresh Cut Paper pop-up bouquet
DeleteI'm glad you enjoyed this tea. 2 likes and 4 nopes is a meh outcome of a tea sampler. I hope you have more luck with a different sampler. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteThere are still a few teas left in the sampler

You like Peeps? I like to watch them explode in the microwave for a bit of savage amusement. 🤣
DeleteEarl Grey is enjoyed by many.
ReplyDeleteMy tea today was just (an ordinary) breakfast tea but I enjoyed it... and not just for breakfast!
All the best Jan
I drink English Breakfast tea all day. Earl Grey is my afternoon or evening cuppa
DeleteI go through phases and there was a phase in my life when I drank Earl Grey (a long time ago). But I admit, I haven't had this tea for ages. I suppose I should try it again.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated T-Day,
Lisca
So many teas to try. So little time. 😊
