T Stands for Two Old Ladies Luncheon

Teague purchased a meal kit with shrimp and rice, but her husband wasn't going to eat it. She asked if I liked Limoncello Shrimp which I thought was a take on Shrimp Scampi. Sure!

Last week, Teague cooked dinner for us. Limoncello Shrimp served over coconut rice. I love coconut so this was a nice change of pace from shrimp and pasta. I had an ice tea and she had water.

The day was nice enough that we were able to eat lunch and hang out in her sunroom.

In the afternoon, she made chocolate chunk cookies for afternoon tea. The ending to a perfect day.

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  1. I'd forego the shrimps but embrace the cookies.

  3. Love coconut rice! Brown Thai II in West Boylston has a great coconut sticky rice.

    1. It was a nice lunch. I didn't cook, ate while the meal was hot, didn't have to clean up, and got a cookie, too

  6. I've not heard of Limoncello shrimp but I assume you cook the shrimp in Limoncello? (What a waste of good Limoncello!) It looks nice though.
    Happy T-Day,

    1. I'm not sure whether it was Limoncello or just lemon. I stayed out of the kitchen while lunch was being prepared. 😺

    1. The sun came out mid-morning. The temp went up and I opened the windows. Just out filling the bird feeder. Really beautiful day. I hope you're outside enjoying it.
