The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. After a delay at the warehouse, the Valentine's Day gift Himself gave to me finally arrived.

2. Enjoyed the baby shower for the Nephew and his Wife.

3.  Himself put together my new blue chair and the drafting table. I moved into the new work space.

4. Had tea with Red.

5. Himself had recorded Goodbye, Mr. Chips (1939) another of my favorite movies.

How was your week?

  3. That chair is a great color and looks very comfortable, too. However, I fear I would catch my feet under the swirly metal and tip myself over. Grace is NOT my middle name (grin).

    1. the photo angle is deceptive. Your foot don't come any where near the circular footrest. This chair is meant for a drafting table so if you raise the seat high, you have a place to rest your feet, if you pull you feet back.

And there's a reason Ma didn't name me Grace, either :-D

    2. Yes, it looks like a typical drafting table chair, but the OLD ones had only FOUR legs, and tipped over easily if you positioned your feet just the right way behind the footrest and leaned a certain way. Trust me, I know of that which I speak!

    3. Maybe that's why the chair now has 5 legs. For the Graces. =^,.^=

  4. Nice week. That chair looks comfy. Hope your week ends well with just some rain. We got a dusting of the white stuff but now it is rain. I trudged out to fill the birdfeeders and at least it isn't very cold out there. Stay dry and hope you don't have any wind related incidents. Hugs-Erika

    1. The call is for heavy rain and high winds. I'm worried about losing electricity, sump pump going out, and a flooded basement. We're supposed to get 4-6 inches of heavy, wet snow later on tonight. I hope this is the last storm of the season.
