Saturday Afternoon at the Movies

This idea came from a Facebook meme:
Over 10 days, post your 10 all time favorite films. What movie has really made an impact on you or what films can you watch over and over and never tire of? Post either the movie poster, DVD cover or even a screenshot on your timeline. No need to explain.

Only I had a hard time picking out just 10 movies so my favorites over the next few hundred Saturdays 😸 in semi-alphabetical order:me favorite films. 1. I like to think of the character as Tommy Udo before he grew up 😺

  6. Otto Preminger directed that one. Seberg was perfect as Joan of Arc. There've been a kajillion films celebrating her life. Have you seen the 1928 silent? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Passion_of_Joan_of_Arc ...but I realize you probably watched yours for Widmark :)

    1. I don't think I've seen the silent film. I have seen the Joan of Arc (1948) with Ingrid Bergman in the title role. And yes, I only watch this Joan of Arc for Widmark 😻

    1. It's old and I don't think one of Widmark's better movies. He played heavies, anti-heroes, and this film was a very different role than he usually played.
