Happy Mail

Nan sent me a fun Halloween card. I love how the US Post Office coordinated their cancellation mark with the Jack O'Lantern stamp Nan chose. The cancellation mark is a wall socket for Energy Awareness month, but it looks like a surprised face.

The Worcester Art Museum is now selling masks in the gift shop. Faculty and staff were offered a free mask of their choice from the above images of art that are in the museum.

I chose number 4. The painting is by Vassily Kandinsky and is called  Untitled, No. 629. It's one of my favorite paintings in WAM. The images remind me of kites and happy times flying kites as a kid.

  2. LOVE the happy mail from Nan. That witch is great, but the cat is adorable.

You picked the best of the masks. Lucky you, and I would have chosen Kandinsky, too.

    1. From my friend the Infection Control Specialist at Stanford U. Hospital. You don't have to throw them away after 1 use. Hang it in the sun for 24 hours. You can keep doing that wear, sun, wear, sun, until it gets really grubby.
