You made some fantastic pieces again, love those shoes! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well with the election, I can't believe that so many people have voted for He who must not be named. Reminds me of Einstein's quote, 'The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius is limited!' Have a good day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWhen all the eligible votes are counted, we'll see we had the power all along, too.
DeleteYour work is always so lovely I enjoy seeing it
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeleteI just read your message to Valerie. I wish I was as optimistic as you, dear. I haven't slept in two days and my stomach is in knots. Add to that I allowed myself to get sucked into an irrational argument with Kathy.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I am here to ohh and ahh over your Inktober entries for the week. Just click your heels and you will land in Kansas, dear CJ. I love the shoes.
These are all so very clever. Each is so good and so different. I love how you interpret the daily prompts. In a way I'm sad it's over, because I really enjoyed these lovely pen and ink drawings you created last month.
I believe in the integrity of the system.
DeleteClicking my heels and visiting you for real tea would be such a hoot.
I vote for 'ominous'! :D
ReplyDeleteThat one made me laugh when I got it from my head to the paper. :D
DeleteOminous! I like those red shoes :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I had red shoes to take me places or maybe a transporter
Deletegreat inks all around - love the shoes and reminder.
ReplyDeleteGlinda's point is one we should all remember
Deletethat is my goal every morning - i spend an hour reading, meditating, contemplating before I ever get up and do a thing. I have for years and one thing I can attest to - is my life is so much more peaceful now as I let everything flow instead of controlling things i can't. That is the "Power" I had all along and learned to use it - the Universe/God arranges amazing things. damn ..there I go again, lol. If there is the slightest opening I have to share my stuff...
Deletedon't have instagram; I'm guessing folks can give a thumbs up etc??? the bunny gets a thumbs up here again :)
ReplyDeletetotally cool worms inktober; that one gets my pick this week !!! ☺☺♥♥
Yeah, on Instagram they give you a heart which translates to a like. We used to sing that ditty when I was a kid. The thought of worms crawling through ears and out eyes grossed me out 😺
DeleteLovely to see all of your pieces here.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite are those shoes ...
All the best Jan

DeleteOh, these are grand, CJ. I see you got Ink in that last one:)
ReplyDeleteI usually hope there's a way to work him into the challenge. After all, it's called Ink-tober 😺
DeleteI hope ominous does not come in red shoes...
ReplyDeleteLove your sketches!
Fingers crossed. Let's put up some lucky symbols: 🤞🍀🐷 🎩(top hat for a chimney sweep),U (for a horseshoe)

ReplyDeleteThey aren't really "wins", Jo. Just that a few people on instagram gave them a like.
