The wind blew a couple of panels out of the greenhouse.
The grackles came back! I haven't seen them in a few years
Ink loved to watch the grackles
The grackles weren't happy I was out in the yard
It made me think of the jungle gym scene from The Birds
Tried to capture the waxing gibbous moon rising through the trees.
It looks more like sunrise.
How does your garden grow?
The last pic is beautiful, and it does indeed look like sunrise. Sorry about the poor greenhouse!
ReplyDeleteIt's weird how the iPhone camera captured the image as it was pitch black outside.
DeleteThe moon has been up so early it seems, not just that it is dark early, but I've been seeing it in the late afternoon daylight. Late fall is really here, isn't it? Do you have clouds also today? Enjoy the day though.
ReplyDeleteFiltered sun today
DeleteMy 'garden' grows well, and I'd be able to open up the house and enjoy it.....if the humidity would just go away! :-/
ReplyDeleteSend the humidity and warm temps here!
DeleteAh, grackles. Such pests!
ReplyDeleteWe're on the grackles migration path
DeleteI've never heard of a grackle, but they sound menacing. Sorry about what the wind did to the greenhouse, but I'm sure it's now fixed.
ReplyDeleteLove that moon shot, but it DOES look like sunrise. Your garden grows it's late autumn look. Soon winter will be on its way (sadly).
Grackles are a black bird with a shiny blue/purple head (males). They travel in large flocks. Make a raucous chatter and fly in large swarms (murmuration) They are not particularly menacing, but seem so because there are usually dozens of birds in the flock.
DeleteThe garden is covered in quite a few fallen leaves at the moment ... big clear/rake up soon!
ReplyDeleteI like your photographs.
All the best Jan
Yup, we're due. Just waiting on the lawn guy for cleanup
DeleteTruly stunning photos CJ! Your poor green house!
