    1. The workshops are interesting. Not coming from a teaching background, they are helpful to make me a better teacher and to different learning styles

  7. This sounds like something I'd do back when I was teaching,. How was the workshop?

    1. It was really interesting. It's a series of workshops focused on different teaching and learning styles

  8. Gosh. I wish I'd had that info when I was student teaching. I was thrown into a subject I knew very little about and the first semester was a DISASTER. Then they let me teach the night class, with students I could relate to, having taken nothing but night classes in all my undergrad and master's classes. TAs HATED teaching at night, so I was a blessing to them and to the prof who had to assign students the night class. I once made the remark I had never seen the sun rise on a college class, but have seen it set many times.
