The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. A rainy, Saturday afternoon. Perfect for watching Richard Widmark in The Alamo

2. Lost my gold crown while taking supplements. Fortunately, I didn't swallow it. The Dentist was able to squeeze me in so he could glue it back

3. Another week and another play day with Teague. She had a surprise for me.

4. Had a good class even if the iPad-pocket projector didn't work

5. Old tech might be old, but it works. Demonstrated on the chalkboard.

How was your week?

  1. Old tech isn't really so bad. People are just always looking for the new I think. And glad you didn't swallow that crown. That could have been expensive. Sounds like a good week. Mine was good too, but it has gone too fast in many ways. Enjoy the sunshine. hugs-Erika

  3. Rain is so good CJ! at least for us. How nice that the dentist was able to put the gold crown back on you. You're right, old technology sometimes works better than modern. My week has been "normal" but with rain, we have enjoyed it.
    Wish you a great weekend,
    Big hugs, Caty

  6. Sorry you lost your crown, but great it was easily glued back in place. Sounds like a good week, otherwise.

    1. I first got the crown in 1986. I think the dentist glued it with temporary glue in case things had to be adjusted. Never had an issue until now! So the temporary glue really held. I think the adhesive he used is permanent.

  9. sounds like a good week for you especially not losing the gold! Me - yard work - we have until June 1 to do a huge clean up in the yard after the big snows - limbs down, pine needles all over, etc etc ...then county can come by and fine you if it's not up to code. so busy busy with a few days here and there to get out and enjoy the weather. Very chilly lately up here with lots of fog and wind however, today is warmer. Lake officially opens today for swimming which i won't and haven't done here since we moved. no thanks.

    1. I'm glad we don't have the county policing our yard. The lawn guy doesn't always get her as quickly as promised.
