SunFlowers are slowly going to seed. Sad to see them go... As always they've been a bright spot for me all Summer... What great pictures you posted... Love the sunset! The kiddies helped decorate for Halloween... they don't do much at home in their apartment so i know they had a blast.. Littlest helped wash the pumpkins before putting out and Eldest washed the skeletons... even brushed their teeth...lol yes i have photos...hilarious... Oh i wish the leaves turned color down here.. more often than not they turn brown and drop off.. BUT the Sumac will put on a show... Hugs! deb
That's a great flag CJ. I had the hubby help me get my box of Halloween decorations out today. In some ways I'm ready for a frost because I'm ready to clean out the garden and be done for the year, but in other ways so far this fall has been so lovely, I just want it to continue. Have a super start to the new week.
You are right. I need to look where I - in a weak, nasty moment - bought and put that Autumn-sign and get it on the shelf. Denying is no option, huh.... 256 days...
Antirrhinums and nasturtiums are still going strong, lavatera and buddleija are over. Roses and honeysuckle persist, which is nice.
ReplyDeleteOh, Snapdragons, Mallows, and Butterfly Bush! Long gone here.
DeleteOur leaves are still hanging on. We've had no frost yet, so they're still mainly green.
ReplyDeleteFrost now predicted here a day earlier on Wednesday
DeleteThe 'back forty' is a little bedraggled from Helene but hanging in. We'll see how it fairs Milton. 😔
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping Milton will fizzle

DeleteWe are still waiting for the leaves to change color. The weather has been just too weird - humidity and rain for days on end. Maybe that is why - idk?
ReplyDeleteI love your Fall flags and Happy Heavenly Birthday to Ink!
Yeah, too much rain and you need really cool nights for the leaves to turn. Ours were stressed by drought.
DeleteAnd I LOVE the cool new background!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I found the vector image at Freepik.com
