How Does Your Garden Grow?

Himself has been working hard to put the garden to bed for Winter. The corn was harvested and corn stalks gone. No more pumpkins or squash. The nasturtiums are holding on.

The sedem is tired

The cosmos and

cornflowers give one last hurrah

to the tired and sad mum

How does your garden grow?

  1. We still have a few buddleja blooms, plus nasturtiums, tired asters and lavatera, and roses, of course.

  2. I think your garden still looks lovely. I think your sedem is lovely though. Those dark flowers are pretty. I've pulled the veggie garden apart and moved my phlox, and now the leaves are starting to fall so raking will be on the agenda sooner rather than later. Stay dry today.

    1. I made arrangements with the lawn guy to come and do Fall cleanup but not until Veterans Day. The oak leaves don't come down until mid-November. Trying to stay dry and warm. It feels very chilly to me today

  4. SunFlowers are tired and will start to be taken down one by one as they go to seed... I have a few young ones that started late that still look fairly well.. My solid purple petunias are doing great, the pink and white stripey ones gave up the ghost sometime in August in the heat... I just really noticed your background with the cat and moon. LOVE it!! Hugs! deb

    1. Yup, October Halloweeny background. The cat on the moon reminds me of Ink.

  6. Your garden is still looking quite colourful.
Out today enjoying some sunshine and I noticed one of the neighbours beautiful pink dahlias. Cyclamen too are doing well.

Enjoy the remainder of your Sunday and have a good new week.

    All the best Jan
