Five good things that happened this week.
1. On the way home from his workout, Himself stopped at Harry's. I thought we were getting fish and chips because the Knights of Columbus weren't doing their fund raiser because of Good Friday services at the church. Himself got me a full belly plate (fried clams) as a surprise.
2. Easter Sunday was quiet with just the two of us as the Eldest had to work at the hospital. Good food (roast leg of lamb), Easter egg bread, hot cross buns and we watched another Holy movie.
3. The Young One received her Easter box. They both got a kick out of the plastic "eggs" shaped like game controllers.
4. The order I placed that said it would arrive on Friday, was delivered the day after I put the order in!
5. Teague found a new place for lunch. Mak's in Franklin with awesome roast beef sandwiches. We'll be going back because they serve breakfast all day!
How was your week?
They make all sorts of 'Easter eggs' out of plastic now, don't they? A good week with some great spring weather. Went for a short hike in Glen Helen nature preserve, which was new to me, and it was lovely - included a beaver dam which was an unexpected bonus

DeleteIt was really cool to see it, although the water behind it was quite stagnant. Glad it isn't mosquito season yet!
DeleteNow that was a super surprise from your husband and I wouldn't say no to fried clams. Next weekend Pop's opens so I hope the weather is good and they actually open so I can get some-grin. It sounds like you had a nice week. I love the saying on the shirt in your photo today. I know, more rain, but at least it isn't snow. Have a great FRiday.
ReplyDeleteThe shirt is what the waitstaff at Harry's wear. I hope you can get to Pop's. I was so disappointed when I was there last year and they closed for the first day of school!

* Had a nice Easter with family... nice to have them live so close...
Thats what i did for the kiddo... boxes... Theyd been on a few Easter egg hunts already and Mom got them Easter egg baskets... so i picked up two pretty boxes from Hobby Lobby and filled them with fun stuff... Fun fun... Hugs! deb
