The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. So nice that the peace lily bloomed on Easter.

2. We bought a new dehumidifier that has a pump that will automatically pump the water out. Himself fed the hose into the sump pump. No more lugging the heavy bucket.

3. I found a dime in the front porch

4. Found some daffodils growing in the middle of the woods.

5. We had the first dinner of the season in the sun room.

How was your week?

  2. Is that the pump that sits in the basement like I am interested in? If so, please let me know how you like it, because I don't have a sump pump in my basement.

LOVED the photo of Ink peeking over the table. When I'm not looking, Bleubeard does that, too (thankfully Squiggles never climbs).

    1. No, that unit I told you about, circulates the air and does remove some moisture. It can get very humid here during the Summer, so the air circulator will end up circulating humid air. So far, it seems to be working. The unit in this week's five is a dehumidifier. It has a pump and a hose so you don't have to remove the fill bucket. Just turn its pump on, and it will drain the water. The hose should go to a floor drain or outside. Himself put the hose in the sump pump basket to drain.

Ink was always on a counter, table, or chair. (-:

    1. The sun room is my favorite room in the house. When the weather gets warm, we live in the sun room. We move the television out there, and I like to work out there if I'm able. This year, we're a little late moving out there as it's still a bit chilly especially at night.

  6. Sounds like a wonderful week! Does finding daffodils and having lunch in the sunroom signify that Spring and warmer weather is finally with you at last? 😁. I love the photo too, Ink must be enjoying his cup of tea, so cute and the tea service is beautiful! We've had a busy week in the garden and walking with friends. The weather has turned colder today with rain showers so ran some errands this morning and now having a cuppa ...lol 😉. Happy Friday and Weekend! J 😊 x

    1. A little bit of Spring. Still chilly and very wet. A tornado warning an hour west of me this afternoon 😱 and downpours and thunder and lightning tonight. Ink loved to be included in tea and would never refuse a crumb or two of yellow cake

  8. It is really exciting you have opened up your sunroom. We're getting there. I am hoping to get the screen porch opened up in a few weeks. It just got so cold again today. Errr. But you had a good week and I hope your weekend is a good one too. hugs-Erika
