Five good things that happened this week. And this week there are 5 😉
1. I'm back on Enders Island for another Sacred Art workshop, The Prayer of St. Francis
2. I've spent each morning at my little beach doing QiGong exercises. (I hope)
3. I've admired the work of Kathy Milici, the instructor, so I'm thrilled to be taking a class with her.
4. Did I mention the fabulous food? I hope Fruit of the Forest Pie is served for dessert.
5. Since I'm writing this blog post a few weeks ahead of time, I wonder if the Holy Gully is still sitting on top of the steeple?
How was your week?
I hope that you had a great week at the workshop! It all sounds wonderful and so relaxing too 😀. I can't wait to hear all about it on your return! Happy Friday and weekend! Hugs, Jo x

DeleteSounds like a fabulous week, CJ. What a wonderful experience it must be to enjoy all that Enders Island offers. Hope to read more about it (& the Holy Gully).
ReplyDeleteAll's good here, too:)
Sadly, the Holy Gully was not perched on the church steeple the entire week. At least, I did not see him on the steeple
DeleteEnjoy your retreat! :D
ReplyDeleteI did!
DeleteTime at that beach sounds like reason enough to go to this place :) I trust your class and food experience lives up to your hopes. You know what to expect, so I'm sure this October retreat is amazing :)
ReplyDeleteThe class, the food, the experience didn't disappoint
Deletesounds like a wonderful retreat and workshop. I love St Francis prayer.
ReplyDeleteahhh ...would love to do something like that.
People come from all over. One of my classmates was from Texas. Enders is in the process of getting next years schedule of classes. Check the website in January to see what is being offered. Besides calligraphy/Medieval Manuscript, there is stained glass, Gregorian chant, iconography, mosaics. https://www.endersisland.com/sacredart
DeleteSuch a beautiful place. Holy Gully at the top of the cross? It is not a saint?
ReplyDeleteThe Holy Gully was my name for the seagull that perched himself on top of the cross. Apparently, over the years, a seagull has decided the cross makes the perfect spot to survey his territory. I just found out the gull is named Gunther. There have been many Gunthers over the years.
DeleteHope it's been a wonderful week and that you'll have lots to share with us next week. Happy weekend CJ. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI do have lots to share
