The night temperature dropped to near freezing. Looks like the morning glories didn't like the cold. I don't blame them.
I should have taken pictures soon as the front lawn was blanketed in maple leaves. The lawn guy came before I was able to take pictures.
The leaves on the twig Himself planted are starting to turn
The only flowers that didn't mind the cold are the Heath asters
Sad morning glories and milkweed
Halloween garden flag
The maple that lost most of its leaves
The Japanese maple hasn't turned yet
Halloween decorations, though the witch, Ink o'lantern
and the flying lessons sign stay up year round.
How does your garden grow?
Yp, we had about two and half weeks or so of hot, humid crap then bamm the weather got much, much colder here as well. Hate winter, but love fall - go figure. lol
ReplyDeleteLove your Halloween flag and decorations!
I'd rather go back to the hot, humid "crap" My kind of weather. 😺
DeleteLOL!!! ;)
DeleteThe decorations look good. I dug mine out yesterday and need to now put them up. Fall is really here now. It definitely feels like it too. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteIt does feel like Fall now. Better get your Halloween decorations up before Halloween comes and goes. The months just seem to fly by
DeleteSee??? I told you I liked the Heath Asters! :D I like your decorations too! I'm too lazy to decorate anymore.
ReplyDeleteI like them, too. I only know how to grow weeds 😺
DeleteLovely colors of Fall!☺
ReplyDeleteIn a week or so the colors will be very vibrant
DeleteIt's looking like autumn....we had a really cold and very wet day. I know we need the rain, but.....Have a great day, Valerie
ReplyDeletethat's our weather coming mid-week
DeleteI'm loving the autumnal colours and I bet your lawn looked spectacular covered in those beautiful maple leaves 😀. Your Halloween decorations and garden flag are fabulous too! Happy Sunday and wishing you a great new week! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure my neighbor would agree. She gets upset when "my" leaves blow into her yard. She knows they are "my" leaves because I embroider my initials on them. 😺
DeleteYour Halloween decorations look like fun :) It's hard for me to get in the "spirit" when "cool" means highs only get into the upper 80sF lol
ReplyDeleteI'll take your highs. By Halloween, our temps will be near freezing. As a kid, trick or treating meant wearing your Halloween costume under your Winter coat. And it always rained. 😺
DeleteHello. My name is Asep Haryono I am nearly 48 years old. I am one of travel and food bloggers in Indonesia. This is my very fist time visiting to your blog, reading some contents and viewing some awesome images or photos
ReplyDeleteI have followed your blog so that I will be notified each time you have posted any new article. Would you mind following mine back?
I currently have misplace my garden.
ReplyDeleteOut of sight, out of mind, out of leaves to rake. 😺
Deleteoh but when that maple turns it will be beautiful. I always enjoy your yard pics. Right now I'm out every day photographing my favorite trees along the shoreline - dogwoods, quaking aspens, maples black oak ...etc.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, we'll be at peak this weekend. A Nor'easter with heavy rains and wind may knock everything down before then. 😿
DeleteI do like your Halloween garden flag and your Halloween decorations.
ReplyDeleteIn town earlier today and many shops were full of Halloween themed goodies :)
All the best Jan
Our stores already have the Christmas decorations out!
Delete😺
We are getting freezing temperatures tonight! A frost warning! Love your flag and Halloween decorations!
