How Does Your Garden Grow?

The night temperature dropped to near freezing. Looks like the morning glories didn't like the cold. I don't blame them.

I should have taken pictures soon as the front lawn was blanketed in maple leaves. The lawn guy came before I was able to take pictures.

The leaves on the twig Himself planted are starting to turn

The only flowers that didn't mind the cold are the Heath asters

Sad morning glories and milkweed

Halloween garden flag

The maple that lost most of its leaves

The Japanese maple hasn't turned yet

Halloween decorations, though the witch, Ink o'lantern

and the flying lessons sign stay up year round.

How does your garden grow?

    1. It does feel like Fall now. Better get your Halloween decorations up before Halloween comes and goes. The months just seem to fly by

    1. I'm not so sure my neighbor would agree. She gets upset when "my" leaves blow into her yard. She knows they are "my" leaves because I embroider my initials on them. 😺

  7. Your Halloween decorations look like fun :) It's hard for me to get in the "spirit" when "cool" means highs only get into the upper 80sF lol

    1. I'll take your highs. By Halloween, our temps will be near freezing. As a kid, trick or treating meant wearing your Halloween costume under your Winter coat. And it always rained. 😺

  10. oh but when that maple turns it will be beautiful. I always enjoy your yard pics. Right now I'm out every day photographing my favorite trees along the shoreline - dogwoods, quaking aspens, maples black oak ...etc.

    1. Hopefully, we'll be at peak this weekend. A Nor'easter with heavy rains and wind may knock everything down before then. 😿
