Saturday Afternoon at the Movies

This idea came from a Facebook meme:
Over 10 days, post your 10 all time favorite films. What movie has really made an impact on you or what films can you watch over and over and never tire of? Post either the movie poster, DVD cover or even a screenshot on your timeline. No need to explain.

Only I had a hard time picking out just 10 movies so my favorites over the next few hundred Saturdays 😸 in semi-alphabetical order:me favorite films. 2. Not only have I not heard of the film, I've also not heard of any of the actors. In addition, I've never heard any of these songs before, either. I can see where it might be a good Saturday movie, though. I feel like such a babe in the woods, or maybe a rube.

    1. Well, musicals fall into the chick flick category, and that's not really your cup of tea.

  4. What a fabulous choice, I always used to watch this when I was younger as I love musicals and it's such a classic 😀. Oliver Reed was great as Bill Sykes too! Sorry I haven't visited much this week, our yearly beer festival is in full swing at the moment so not much time, cheers ...lol 😉. I hope you've had a great week and wishing you a happy weekend! Hugs, Jo x

  6. "Please sir, may I have.....more?" Is a catchphrase we used to use all the time at home. Nice memory, thanks. :)

  8. Never seen this one. One I could watch again but maybe not more than once every ten years ...would be Legends of the Fall. That one really hooked me in. Oh and Chicago - loved that one.

    1. yes but even more so now - i think he's been "fixed" up somewhat - nobody his age can have such smooth skin. I really want to see the "hollywood" movie (can't think of the name) he is in.

  10. I have to admit that I have never seen the movie, but I know that the musical version starred Davey Jones from The Monkees before he got recognized and associated with that show and the group.
