The honeysuckle vine is so overgrown, not many leaves appearing.
The male cardinal wasn't happy I was thinking of pruning or taking the honeysuckle vine down
In the trough, some green things growing.
Forsythia starting to bloom. Nan said I could take a cutting and stick it in the ground and another forsythia bush would grow. This might be a good replacement for the honeysuckle vine.
Creeping Charlie is in bloom
Vinca
New leaves on the snowball bush
Daffodils and Alpine Bells
A tiny, flower.
Hydrangea leaves. Hopefully, there will be lots of flowers this year.
Lots and lots of daffodils. I thought of cutting some to bring inside, but allergies.
Maple pollen. More Achooo!
Daffodils by the lamp post
Two peace lily flowers
Lettuce!
How does your garden grow?
My sinuses feel your pollen pain. :(
ReplyDeleteThanks
ReplyDeleteYour garden is looking better than mine. You have a ton of daffs. I love them. I don't think my vinca has started yet. I see yours already has little purple flowers. And I saw a male cardinal last week, too. First in over four years.
ReplyDeleteWonderful to see the male cardinal. I know how much you like them.
DeleteYou are definitely ahead of me, but it is amazing how much has come out with those few beautiful days. I didn't know forsythia could root that way. That is interesting. Hmm. Everything is looking great, and enjoy the lettuce. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThat's what Nan told me.
DeleteGorgeous Lettuce There - Well Done - Almost Overwhelming Out Here
ReplyDeleteCheers
The hydroponic lettuce does really well
DeleteYour garden is growing well, the lettuce looks great! Nothing on my balcony yet, I'm waiting for better weather. Have a great week, Valerie
ReplyDeleteHopefully, better weather this week for you.
DeleteLove how everything is blooming in your garden! I think my favorites are the daffodils and forsythia. Yellow is such a cheerful color.
ReplyDeleteAnd sunny even on a rainy, dreary day
DeleteLooking good CJ!!! Sorry about the pollen! Have any of your bunnies came back? Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThe bunnies are here, I just haven’t seen them out. It was cool and rainy today. Either they are staying in and staying warm or else they are making more little bunnies.
DeleteWondrous.
ReplyDeleteGetting there.
DeleteThe cardinal doesn't need leaves. He likes it just the way it is :) Our honeysuckle doesn't provide enough cover for nesting. I love forsythia, and it does root easily. It's definitely looking like spring in your yard :)
ReplyDeleteHe might not have much longer to like it. It doesn't look like it's doing very well.
DeleteYour daffodils are looking great.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
They seem to be multiplying
Deletethe garden is alive again! Love the daffodils ..We have an area in Twin peaks where the guy lost his wife like 20 years ago and he created a big daffodil garden in her honor. every year all the locals and tourists love to drive by and see the garden. i took way too many photos because i love them so much.
ReplyDeleteThat must be a spectacular tribute
Deleteit is - but a lot of people have been trespassing over them and picking them. this happens every year.
