Five good things that happened this week.
1. Needed some mindless entertainment so watched Monsters, Inc.
2. Himself found a free Midsomer Murders channel on Pluto
3. Bought a small, personal fan to speed up ink drying time. Why didn’t I think of this before?
4. Lots of laughs watching Harold Lloyd in 1928 silent film Speedy. Lloyd is so clever, so funny, and so underrated
5. Fun day of shopping online sales
How was your week?
That sounds like a good week. I had more yard work planned until the rain moved in. But that's OK as we really need the rain. Hope you got some good online sale items. That is always fun. Happy Friday.
ReplyDeletePants, socks, at really good prices and free shipping
DeleteFree shipping 🥰
ReplyDeleteWon't shop without it
DeleteSounds good. We have Midsomer murders every Monday evening, 2 episodes! Online shopping sounds good, must have a look see what's on offer here! Valerie
ReplyDeleteI like Midsomer with DCI Tom Barnaby. I wasn't too crazy about the show when his cousin took over.
DeleteGlad you had a good week.....mine was good too! (The mechanic was able to find a new transmission for my 23 year OLD SUV! YAY!)
ReplyDeleteThat is impressively awesome!
Deletewow, i thought my toyota was old (solara)...it's 21 years. Nice that you found a transmission.
DeleteSounds like a great week! Monsters Inc is always fun to watch and the fan was a great idea to increase drying times too - perfect 😁. Wishing you a happy Friday and weekend! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThe fan is working out really well
DeleteLots of good watching this week :)
ReplyDeleteIndeed
DeleteI get Midsomer on IMBD.com. It's free, too. It took me awhile to get used to John and Sarah, but Sykes was so adorable, he helped bridge the gap between the two cousins.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you got some good bargains. Like you NEED more socks (grin!).
Sock! I had to send my art socks to good well as with a weight increase they started binding. Instead I switched to diabetic socks that don't bind and came in fun colors. The recent sock purchase are for no-show, non-slip socks for the summer. We'll see as I haven't had luck with those yet
DeleteA fan - simple thought and usually it's the simple things we discover and wonder why it took so long, lol. My week was good - good temps, beautiful skies, great hikes. Mike comes now for four days out of seven and soon it will be all the time. son is going gung home on his rehab since he was given the go ahead a few weeks back to push to his ability to get it done. he's hoping to go to work in two to three weeks. Other than a great week - i'm looking forward to another mildly temped beautiful weekend but staying on the "roads" less traveled so to speak as the crowds will start arriving to night to stay in their Air B&B's and from i've learned from others up here there are way too many - which is now crowding out long time residents up here who rent and their landlords desire to turn their places into vacation rentals.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you son is making progress on his recovery and that Mike is able to be home more with you.
Deletethanks. i have kind of enjoyed the independence - eating when i want, what i want, walking trails i want, ...lol...but i do like him home. we will be married
Delete50 years this week. We are heading out Tuesday for a heck of a long long day at several beaches in so cal because i haven't been to the each since 2017. i may never want to come back to the mountains again.
Happy Anniversary! 🥂💐
DeleteThat sounds like a pretty good week to me! Ahhh, and who does not enjoy shopping? lol
