The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. Delivered a birthday gift for grand-niece. Niece-in-Law sent a video of the little girl opening her gifts and thanking us trying to pronounce our names. So cute

2. Spring cleaning the studio

3. Received an email from my friend, Kaz, in OZ (Australia)

4. Skyped with Nan

5. Found new light fixtures for the bathroom

How was your week?

  1. How wonderful to see your grand-neice opening her present of you and I bet she was super cute trying to pronounce your names too - that would have made my week! Glad you've caught up with friends and found the perfect bathroom lights - yay 😀. Wishing you a happy Friday and weekend! Hugs, Jo x

  2. Is that a photo of your new bath light fixtures, or is it a decoy photo? I need to spring clean everything. Want to come help? Just joking about helping. Sounds productive, at least.

    1. Yes, I'll gladly come and help. It's easier to toss someone else's things out because there's no emotional attachment. Also, you can make me tea.

  3. I don't think I hit publish before I left. I'm trying to play catch up, so I can create something for tomorrow. If I didn't, the most important thing I asked was if that was a photo of the new bath light fixtures or if it was a decoy photo.

    1. That is a picture of what the light is supposed to look like, a seashell.

  4. Sounds like you had a good week. Hope you get all rain today. I've done some more book purging and yard work. The spring cleaning bug hit me last week and hasn't left yet. That is a good thing. Enjoy this dark day, but we need the rain. Hugs-Erika

    1. Nope, we got 3 inches of snow so far, and it's still snowing!

  5. Y'all are still having snow?! We're overcast with drizzly rain and predicted high of 63 or so last I checked. I put up another kind of squirrel baffle. I wouldn't mind squirrels so much if the food didn't tempt them to nest in attics.

    2. hmmm... At least we had snow here this winter, which is unusual. I've already put out our hummingbird feeder. They've been spotted in the area.

  7. Sounds good. Love that light, so pretty. My week was good because I got out of hospital with no complications this time, that's a blessing! Valerie

  8. well sounds like a good week. My week -really nothing all that memorable. Mike and I went down the mountain on Monday to our favorite city, Redlands - citrus capital...etc...and everything is blooming nicely down there. Stayed home for the most part because of chilly weather but today going out to one of the local lakes for a good walk and photo taking.

    1. I think I might have confused things. Nan is the nickname for a friend and not my grandmother. I try not to use people's real names on the blog.
