How Does Your Garden Grow?

Hmmm, paint flaked off the terra cotta pot

None of the other pots have any signs of flaking. Ink is still keeping watch. Weather or some malicious mischief? The following evening as the Young One and I were going out, she heard water splashing. The hose had been turned on. Definitely points to signs of malicious mischief. Though a kind reminder to turn the water off to the outside hose so the pipes don't burst during the Winter weather.

The dreaded S-word!

I hope it warms up enough so I can free the Flamingoes

Cold weather didn't stop the solar panel technicians from replacing a broken micro-inverter. The only time a ten minute repair job actually took only ten minutes!

How does your garden grow?

  1. Oh, boy, S already?! Eeeek. Nothing like that here, luckily, it´s 3C/37,4F.
    A 10 minutes repair-job, very good!

    1. We just had a dusting of snow. My friend, Tiggy, in Scotland not only had snow, but lost electricity for 30 hours!

  4. I was wondering if you got any of that white stuff. Ours is melting some today. And that is weird about the paint on that one pot. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend. And that your snow all melts too. Hugs-Erika

    1. The chipped paint on the pot combined with the outside faucet being turned on points to someone not being neighborly

  5. Oh my gosh. Why do people do mean things?
And on the complete opposite end of the spectrum... Thank you. I was humbled and touched.

  6. You poor thing. I can't believe you got snow. It's supposed to be 70 F today in my world. Looks like your flamingos are stuck for the winter.

Many parts of the UK had snow at the weekend, we just had a few snow flurries but it was cold.

    All the best Jan

  8. Some well-placed motion detector lights, maybe? I'll close up our outdoor faucets later this week on a warm day. I didn't enjoy the years when I waited 'til it was 20 degrees lol
