The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. With more hot and humid weather, I didn't feel like eating a real meal. I had vanilla cherry ice cream for dinner.

2. We enjoyed some mindless fun watching Bill and Ted Face the Music on Netflix.

3. I signed up for an envelope exchange with Modern Storybook Script classmates. It will be a good opportunity to practice.

4. Made dinner plans to celebrate our anniversaries with the Brother and SIL

5. While waiting in line for my order to be rung up, I chatted with an older gentleman. He reminded me of my dad

How was your week?

  2. My week was great. Except for that crazy heat. But I had 3 days to myself. Wahoo. I needed them. And I think you had a great week yourself CJ. Ice cream for supper definitely works for me.

  4. I only have ice cream for birthdays, tending to forget it at other times. I've never seen the Bill and Ted movies. Happy Anniversary (early) :) I enjoy visiting with folks in line when they are open to it. It's about the only in-person socializing I get lol

    1. I don't start a conversation when I'm in line. People just start talking to me. And sometimes they tell me the most private things that have happened to them. I used to tell Himself this happens to me all the time. He wouldn't believe it until he came shopping with me! I don't know what it is about me.😺

    2. The Bill and Ted movies are just mindless and fun to see a Baby Keanu

  8. Catching up here - sounds like a good week and nice to chat with someone who reminded you of your dad. I've had that happen - not chatting but walked into our local saloon for taco tuesday when a man sitting at the bar looked exactly like my dad in profile, down to the clothing even. It's been busy. I'll be back to catch up later.

  11. Two days ago, I had two scoops of black cherry and two scoops of chocolate ice cream and called it breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Sounds like you had an awesome week. Mine was filled with finishing cleaning the shed and watering my herbs. Glad you were able to spend a few minutes in line with a man who reminded you of your dad. The best (most memorable) part of your week, I'm sure.
