The Friday Five

Five good things that happened this week.

1. I signed up for two online classes Modern Storybook 2 and Holiday Flourishes

2. Rain showers, but no long, sustained downpours, and the sun room roof didn't leak

3. The Young One met a friend at the BPL, and he fixed her computer.

4. The Young One and I wrangled the kitties into their carriers for a trip to the groomers without as much fuss as I expected. Quill who is mute most of the time let out a very loud MEOW!

5. Beautiful day for a ride to the cemetery to visit my folks and then stopping for brunch at The Cracker Barrel

How was your week?

  1. Nice week. Especially if you can get a cat into a carrier without much fuss. When I had cats that was always such an issue. My week was good but busy. I have lots of photos to share eventually. 🤣have a great start to your weekend. Hugs Erika

  6. What a great week and you even managed to eat out at least once!

My cats wear collars, so when I want to take them to the vet (sorry there is NO grooming of my boys other than me and my cat comb and hair glove), I slip their leashes on a few hours before. Then it's a matter of taking the leash and guiding them into their pet cages. I have learned to NOT take both mine to the vet at the same time. It works out better when they go at separate times. Glad they weren't too traumatized, at least.

    1. Calli forgave me after getting a treat when we got home. Treat or no, it took a lot longer for Quill to get over things.

    2. Sound like there was actual trauma where Quill was concerned. There may be issues the next time you want to get him in the cat carrier.

    1. I'm still happy dancing. Hopefully, the roof will hold up with tomorrow's rains.
