  1. In some future time, archaeologists are going to have to consult scribes to decipher cursive writing! If the the 'powers that be' get their way and drop it from the curriculum. Progress, huh?

    1. I pray for that day as I will have a full-time job :-D And sadly, several states have already removed cursive writing from their curriculum

  2. I was so stunned when I learned some schools had taken cursive out of the curriculum. Though, nothing much surprises me anymore.
Hope you get a full time job soon.
My daughter teaches art and has been looking for full time work for years.
I believe it's also National Pie Day.

  4. Huh. Who knew? I wonder if this day will exist in 50 years when all the school kids who never learned cursive will be running the world. :) Erika

    1. Yup, running the world and living their lives. Having to take someone's word about what the great documents like Magna Carta and Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights really mean as they won't be able to interpret for themselves
