How Does Your Garden Grow?

Sunny but cold, blue skies. Hard to believe there's another storm on the way

Somebunny running back and forth

A depressing sight

View from the garage

Measurement from the hood of the car as I couldn't get the front door open.

The mailbox survived another one.

Mountains on top of the window boxes

Snow cone, anyone?

Gruff's bench is nearly buried

After the storm, a glorious sunset

Cold temps but a high sun angle melts the snow off the roof to form dragons' teeth

A Blue Jay stops by to enjoy a cold breakfast

The dragon's tooth melted.

And today, more snow to change to sleet to change to rain. Is it July, yet?

How does your garden grow?

  1. Your garden still looks like winter. Sorry it's so cold. Mixed and stormy weather here but the vegetation is greening up. Have a happy day, Valerie

    1. Spring is not anywhere in sight even though it's supposed to take place in a couple of weeks.

  3. Wow! So much snow! We've been having interminable rain and chillier-than-normal temps, but today! Ah, today we have sunshine with an expected high of 71.

    1. This morning's snow was just a dusting and has now turned to rain. Warmer temps (40s) expected this week so hopefully the snow pack will shrink. Enjoy the sunshine and warm temp for me. It will be several months before we hit the 70s.

    2. I mis-typed -only a high of 61 today not 71. Wishful thinking? But I enjoyed my trip to the park anyway :)

  4. For once it's dry here, and most of the snow has melted. Temps may get above freezing today, too. I went out to get my mail and the two wicker chairs were turned over on the front porch. The wind has been as unrelenting as the cold. Your garden looks much snowier than mine.

    1. Our temps are supposed to get seasonal (40s) by the end of the week. Winter just doesn't want to let go.

  5. Ugh looking at your snow photos. You got quite a bit. The overnight storm last night dropped more snow, but the changeover to rain finally melted it late this afternoon. The snow from the last storm still hasn't melted, so it acted like a sponge for the rain. Spring can't get here soon enough.

    1. We were supposed to get rain, but temps never got above freezing so we have freezing rain. Ice is building up on the trees and slick roads have caught people by surprise.

  6. I think we have more snow now than we did all winter. Wait a minute. It is March and it shouldn't be like that. But it always seems to be like that. Hope we end up with a warmer week like they say we might get. I am ready. Hugs-Erika

  7. Parts of the UK have had snow and high winds … but that is a lot of snow in your photographs.
Have to say that sunset is glorious.

    All the best Jan

  8. Wow CJ!!! You got so much snow! Holy! We got the rain and freezing rain, but not that much snow. We are going up to double numbers for temperature this week! Spring is here! I think! LOL!

  9. BURRRR....pretty pics but i hope it stays in your yard and doesn't blow over to mine - our higher mountain towns can get a foot of snow tonight - we will either get lots of rain or a dusting of snow - ..no one seems to be able to agree on the local weather blogs up here.
