A new garden flag adds a splash of color
to Mud Season
A reflecting pond by Gruff's bench
The grass is always greener over the septic tank
Some snow still left in the backyard
A weed with tiny, white flowers finds its way to the sun
Crocus poke their heads above the ground
Daffodils and
tulips are a
sign of Spring.
How does your garden grow?
Love the new flag, and things are really growing at last, you had such a long, hard winter. Have a great Sunday, Valerie
ReplyDeleteHopefully, after today's warmer temps and sunshine more green things will poke their heads above the ground.
DeleteI'm loving your colourful new flag! I have just put up my Easter decorations too and have little yellow chicks and eggs hanging from the branches in my window display again, yay ...lol 😉. Great to see signs of spring in your garden too! Happy Sunday! J 😊 x
ReplyDeleteI hope you show us your Easter decorations.
DeleteYup, yesterday when I went for my walk I saw some small purple wildflowers that had sprung up from the ground already - YAY! SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!!!
ReplyDeleteYAY Spring! Love that new flag! :D
ReplyDeleteIf nothing else blooms, at least the flag does :-D
DeleteI love your new flag! And the greenery poking up its head to reach for Spring is such a joy after this cold, wet wintertime. Our neighbor's pink dogwood is in bloom, and we're fortunate that it's next to the fence so overhangs our patio. So pretty :)
ReplyDeleteMy parents had a dogwood in their backyard. I think it was white. Lucky you to get the benefits of your neighbor's dogwood.
Deleteback from our trip and catching up here - love the easter theme background and the photos and glad to see you are melting and spring is sprouting. That flag is cute. Now to catch up on the rest of what you have posted.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! I hope we get to see some of your travels
DeleteYeah! Loving your garden. 'The grass is always greener...' Ha!
ReplyDeleteYour Easter border is purrfect.
Spring Fever and I needed some color.
DeleteYou have just a bit less snow than we do. It is soo fantastic to see is disappearing quickly. Today there was huge flock of robins and juncos in my yard. Got to love it! Happy new week CJ. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteRain today and the snow is all gone. Haven't seen any robins yet. Maybe now that the snow is gone, the ground is wet, and fat, juicy worms will be coming to the surface.
DeleteLove your flag and welcome sign CJ! I can't believe you have things showing growth already! You wouldn't believe it, but we had a major snow storm! LOL! I feel bad for the robins!
ReplyDeleteYikes for you! The Eldest got a dusting of snow on Sunday. Glad it doesn't seem to be coming this way
DeleteWhat a fun, welcoming Easter/spring chicks flag. The welcome sign with the Easter basket is adorable, too. I can relate to mud season. I have some of that in my back yard. I hope your flowers/tulips don't get killed by hard freezes like the ones I've had last night and predicted for tonight.
ReplyDeleteI hope not, too.
DeleteFor a second, I looked at the sand box and thought, "Septic tank?" But then I figured it out.
ReplyDeleteSpring is popping up all over for you!
Since we have the septic tank pumped every year, Himself got tired of digging it up. Once the girlies were done with the sandbox, Himself dragged that over to cover the hole. And Spring has sprung
