Spring was in the air this week with mild temperatures and sunshine
Sunset and
weird color light in the evening. A hint that heavy thunderstorms would be rolling through
Mild temps and sunshine during the week melted most of the snow in the front yard.
An ice skating rink in front of the bird feeder.
A highway of tracks through the back yard.
Still lots of snow in the back.
How was your week?
And a Happy Birthday to my dad who would have turned 100 years old today. Buon Compleanno, PapĂ
I'm very happy for you that spring is slowly springing, and hope the snow soon disappears. I like that you're thinking of your dad. Valerie
ReplyDeleteI'm happy that Spring is finally springing. A day doesn't go by where I don't think of my folks
DeleteYour yard looks like mine, but we didn't get hardly any rain nor any thunderstorms at all. We had lots of sunshine, did you? But those temperatures were gorgeous! I am sure you agree. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLots of sunshine this week and the thunderstorms and downpours were fierce. More water in the basement )-:
Delete55°....it's a veritable heat wave! Enjoy!
ReplyDelete(PS Happy B'day CJ's dad!)
I am! And Dad would love the birthday wishes.
DeleteYour sunset color is stunning! So much snow there still, and here we're seeing spring with no snow in sight.
ReplyDeleteI'd be very happy with Spring and no snow in sight
DeleteGlad spring is finally showing her face. Good to see!
ReplyDeleteMy dad would have turned 86 years old this past January. And we DO think of them each and every single day, don't we?
HAPPY ST. PATTY' S DAY and a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR DAD, CJ - God Bless!
Thank you for the wishes.
Deleteno more snow for us - all melted and sun is out, wind has stopped and i'm going out today for a long hike (or walk)..
ReplyDeleteGood. We'll be able to see more of your wonderful sketches
DeleteSpring is here! Gorgeous sky photos! Happy Birthday to your dad! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteFinally Spring is here!
DeleteGosh, CJ. Your front yard looks so different from your back yard. Laughed at the highway of tracks!
ReplyDeleteThe turkey highway is pretty funny. The herd has been causing traffic jams as they hold up traffic while they decide which side of the street to say on.
DeleteSounds like our Canadian Geese we seem to have adopted in my area. Once people started feeding them, they decided to stay and poop their slime all over everything!
