Life with the Kennedys is slightly askew.
Lots of tiny tomatoes which were delicious in salad.
The peppers don't seem to be getting any bigger
The cucumbers look more like gherkins than cukes.
Some more zucchini. We had two this week which I used in Jan's Rustic Rainbow Ratatouille recipe. Delicious!
Do you hear the grasshopper which is at your feet?
Two little bunnies, Cadbury
and Marzipan.
The new lighting
How does your garden grow?
Things are looking good. Your bunnies sound tasty! Valerie
ReplyDeleteThe bunnies look like chocolate bunnies when they sit still.

I'm surprised you aren't overgrown with zucchini! We used to feed the neighborhood! LOL :D
ReplyDeleteHimself only planted a couple of plants. The plants aren't looking too good, either. The leaves are yellow and turning brown. Too much rain? Not enough drainage? Too little rain? Who knows?
DeleteI like the bright lighting. Congrats on getting to eat some of your own tomatoes lol The squirrels used to get most of mine lol
ReplyDeleteThe bright lighting is great. Since we live in a rural area, there is little to no street lighting except at cross streets. We've been known to drive by the house if we've forgotten to turn on the lights 😺 I don't think the squirrels or the chipmunks have noticed the vegetables. Good for us!
Deletei love the color of your house and your new light! And, I always enjoy your garden pics. I am going to check out that recipe over at Jan's .
ReplyDeleteThe color is Benjamin Moore Denim, as close to Wedgewood Blue as I could get. Jan’s recipe is awesome and easily customizable. I added mushrooms and skipped the garlic and onions
DeleteLove your new lighting and the garden. The morning glories are gorgeous. Such a sweet pic of Marzipan.
ReplyDeleteHugs
The new little bunnies 🐰 🐰 are so cute. They run around, chase, play with each other, and eat the weeds
DeleteYour garden grows a lot better than mine. Loving the new lighting and those "refreshed" steps. Too bad about the lack of zucchini and peppers. It's a learning curve, I guess, but at least you had tomatoes, which is great and a good recipe for your two zucchini from Jan's site, too.
ReplyDeleteThe vegetable garden seems to be a hit or a miss. In a way it's good that we aren't producing 30,000 lbs of something as there's only the 2 of us to eat it.
DeleteSo pleased you enjoyed the recipe suggestion …
ReplyDeleteYour garden is looking good :)
All the best Jan
The ratatouille was delicious. I made a lot and froze some
DeleteThe new lighting is amazing! Wow! Good job! The bunny on the chair made me laugh! LOL! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteFinally a lamp post that won't tip over! 😺 The bunnies are funny to watch
