The Karate Kid (2010) Jackie Chan, Jaden Smith
I've actually HEARD of this one, but never saw it. I might be able to catch it on TV if I'm lucky.
ReplyDeleteThis is a remake the original was made in 1984. I think the remake is a much better storyline. And the martial arts choreography is better, too.
Deletegood pick-saw this one years ago I think they has a sequal to this one Happy Saturday
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard they were making a sequel
DeleteI just googled it there was 2 and 3 after this first one
DeleteI think you’re thinking of the original films with Pat Morita and. Ralph Macchio from 1984. There were 3 films in that series. The Jackie Chan/Jaden Smith is a remake of the 1984 film.
DeleteI'll go out for the popcorn...... ;)
ReplyDeleteBring back some SnoCaps and Good n Plenty๐
DeleteI've seen this one more than once and enjoyed it. The sequels, on the other hand, are skippable. I never saw the remake.
ReplyDeleteThis version with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith is the remake of the 1984 film.
DeleteI was reading KathyInOzarks' comment above and was thinking of that rather than to the film you actually posted lol. Distraction, lack of focus, my brain on holiday, maybe? Yes, the remake I've never seen.
DeleteSorry, not my cup of tea, but at least I have heard of it! Just hit my thumb with a hammer, ouch! Not on purpose! Have a good weekend, Valerie
ReplyDeleteOuch! Hope you’re ok
DeleteBlue thumb. I will survive it. Never use a hammer to set eyelets and try to watch TV at the same time....
DeleteFabulous! I haven't seen this remake and I love Jackie Chan films ๐. Happy weekend! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThis is much better than the original film imnsho. The acting is sooooo much better
DeleteI haven't seen this version but loved the old 1980's version. Hope you enjoyed this gorgeous day. Hus-Erika
ReplyDeleteWhen I was practicing martial arts, the original was my Sensei’s favorite movie of all time. You didn’t dare say you didn’t like the original or you’d be doing push-ups or having to stand in particular martial arts positions ๐
DeleteI'm pretty sure I saw the original 1984 version when my children were growing up.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Yup, it was a popular film.
DeleteI saw the "original", but I haven't seen this one! I will now! Thanks CJ!
