The Friday Five Good Things

August 2015
Five good things that happened this week.

1. I've been on Ender's Island this week attending a Sacred Art Retreat in Manuscript Illumination with Valerie Weilmuenster.

2. Valerie is a fabulous instructor. This is my 4th class with her, my 3rd time on Ender's Island

3. The island is so peaceful and beautiful

4. My early morning meditation spot is at the little beach

5. Though I have enjoyed my stay, it will be good to be home this weekend.

    Sounds like you had a great time, that's a beautiful place to be, too. My week? Too hot, too much cleaning and tidying to do, and my flowers have all been killed off in the heat. Enjoy being back home again! Valerie

      It’s been hot and humid here on Enders Island, too, but the flowers don’t seem to mind the heat. There is a breeze off the ocean so it never really seems to feel as hot as the thermometer reads. Maybe the sea breeze is the difference.

    It sounds like you had a great week.

    My week seemed to whizz by, but it's been a good one.
    I spent time with the grandchildren mid-week which was great fun.

    We've got music in the park Sunday afternoon, keeping fingers crossed for dry weather :)

    You definitely had a great week. How nice to have your own "private beach" to enjoy. But I also know what you mean: I enjoy spending time at places, but it's also nice to come home.

      Leaving was hard because I was spoiled all week. No cooking or cleaning.👸🏻 Rather a let down to come home to the same routine 😄
