After 2 1/2 hours, Ink's face emerges. Paint by numbers is like painting a jigsaw puzzle, and I find it relaxing.
The picture is a bit pixelated, but I like it. I don't think I sent a high enough resolution photograph. Someone was too excited about the prospect of having a kit of Ink made up, she didn't thoroughly read the directions.
Total project time: 7 1/2 hours
Looks great, have fun with the rest. Valerie

DeleteInk appears! This is coming along fantastic CJ. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteHe's coming along
DeleteI think it looks great, pixelated or not! :D
ReplyDeleteI think the pixelating gives it a painterly effect... don't you?? Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteIt does
DeletePaint by numbers is a relaxing activity, I agree. I was wondering how a photo of a black cat would translate into this form, but cool! It's turning out great.
ReplyDeleteThere are various shades of grey from light to almost purple and blue.
Deleteit looks great CJ; someone here would have been too excited as well !! ☺☺♥♥ frame this in a bright blue and... !!!!
ReplyDeleteThat’s a possibility if I change the color(s) of the background. Not sure I want to paint all the teeny tiny spaces pf the tapestry chair
DeleteIt is looking like the photo on the right side of your blog already. Great job so far. You have a lot more patience than I would.
ReplyDeletePainting Ink is the easy part. We'll see how much patience I have when it comes to painting that background. I might just op for a solid background and call it good. ๐บ
DeleteInk's face looks great. I think even if I used a kit, I still wouldn't be able to making a painting that looked good.
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to thank you for asking me about Inkscape awhile back. I used it today to convert a PNG file to SVG, with a simple File - Save As... choice. (Who knew it could be that easy? :-)
Yeah, you would. The kit is no fail
DeleteIt's going good and so beautiful - I would think it definitely would be relaxing. I think i might like to try something like that some day.
ReplyDeleteWinnie's Picks, where this kit came from, has lot of choices. Or you could have your own photograph turned into a kit. Reasonably priced. https://www.winniespicks.com/
DeleteLooks good to me :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
