How Does Your Garden Grow?

And in the correct order

A potential wish

This little bunny's fur looked odd to me. Like he was moulting. From an online source little bunnies moult at 5 weeks or so and then again around 4 or 5 mos. Adult rabbits moult twice a year in in Spring and Fall.

Lunch time

The sunsets were particularly spectacular this week

There were no leaves on the lawn the day before this photo was taken, and now the leaves are ankle deep.

Leaves in the woods starting to turn yellow

The two bunnies didn't even lift their heads from the grass as I was running around taking photos. They must be used to me. If only I could get them to come in and clean the house.

How does your garden grow?

  1. Oh, when I worked in Wolfsburg there were bunnies too (try not to kill them with your car - they run around like crazy!).
    Cute fellas, those.
The Neighbor´s garden is unchanged. Green still.

    1. The bunnies are very cute and run around like crazy. Green in your neighbor's garden is very good, better than snow!

  2. Your garden is looking good. My balcony still has a few hardy flowers, but I need to cut everything down for winter. Have a wonderful day, Valerie

    1. I have to cut back flowers, too, but I'm hoping to hang on to warm weather for a little while longer

  3. It was a gorgeous week, wasn't it? Guess fall will be here now. You have the cutest bunnies. Lucky you. And yup, raking time is arriving. I always look at it as some arm exercise. Happy fall.

    1. Fall has arrived. Hopefully, the lawn guy will, too, to take care of the leaves.

  4. I'd forgotten rabbits had a seasonal shed. The weather has decided to catch up with the calendar, hasn't it!

    1. I'm glad I looked it up because I thought the poor bunny had mange, and I wasn't sure what to do about it

  5. It has been hot and dry here for days. We set all kinds of high temps last week. Today I'm freezing. Even a hot shower didn't help. Today I'll be bringing my plants inside that I plan to overwinter in the house. I don't want to lose them because I waited too long.

I see those leaves need mulching now. Your yard will thank you next spring if you get your yard guy to do it. I stopped raking when I realized my mulching mower was easier to manipulate than the rake.

That bunny looks sick to me, but I didn't know about molting until you told us. Glad the bunnies aren't afraid of you. I haven's seen mine for awhile. I suspect since they no longer have a place to hide in the bamboo, they have either found safer hiding spots or have been killed by the dogs in the neighborhood.

You have gorgeous sunsets, CJ. And you have a beautiful yard, too!!

    1. The leaves will have to wait as there is other construction going on.
