Five good things that happened this week.
1. Since we were up from the mouse scare and couldn't get back to sleep, the Young One and I stayed up laughing and talking. It was good to spend time and get to know her.
2. Himself took his 3 teaching assistants out to lunch as a thank you for their help this term. I got to tag along. We went to Point Breeze and though it was cloudy, we had a nice lunch out on the deck.
3. Monday was a rainy day, and I was expecting a package delivery. The delivery person kindly put the package in the front porch instead of leaving it outside on the steps.
4. Got some fun Happy Mail for my friend, Teague. Right back atcha, Buddy.
5. Himself recorded How Green Is My Valley just for me
How was your week?
Nice week. Sounds like lots of good little things happened. Hope your weekend is as good.
ReplyDeleteLittle things add up to big good things
DeleteHow Green is my valley is nice. My glasses are a bit like those in the first picture, but the nose is too long! Who wants to be normal? Have a fun day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteGood to be outside the box
DeleteOne week is pretty much the same as the last....but I'm still kickin'! ;)
ReplyDeleteStill kickin' is half the battle
DeleteSounds like a pleasant week. Mail deliverers who make that extra effort make my day :)
ReplyDeleteYup, a small pleasure
DeleteI love happy mail.
ReplyDeleteMe, too
DeleteWow, your husband had THREE TAs? When I was a grad student, I was the only TA. There weren't enough grad students, so we were each assigned to a specific professor. I was so lucky, though, because some of the TAs were worked to death. I got to do fun things like build shelves for my prof's new office. Others had to grade all tests, administer tests, etc.
ReplyDeleteEveryone likes happy mail, don't they?
Himself has a one TA for each of the three sections of chemistry lab he teaches. The TA's aren't allowed to grade tests.
Delete#1 is my fav :-)
ReplyDeleteMy week was OK. Little Niece thought her best Birthday pressie was that she got the biggest slice of the cake - short phone-call that was, LOL. Priorities...
#1 is my fav, too, and getting the biggest slice of the cake is the best part of a birthday
DeleteLunch sounds great. Good week you had.
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice outing. The three young people were wonderfully entertaining.
DeleteAlways nice to get happy mail.
