1. The Neem oil seems to have killed off the annoying fruit fly like bugs on the Peace Lily
2. The insurance company sent the check for the water damage to the bathroom/basement caused by Quill
3. Himself took his 3 teaching assistant out to lunch as a thank you for their hard work this term. I got to tag along. No cooking!
4. Found PVC pipe that will work for the joint pot project.
5. Started assembling the pot project pieces.
How was your week?
Glad the insurance coughed up the money so quickly. A joint pot project? The min boggles! Have a great day! Valerie
ReplyDeleteWe were pleasantly surprised the insurance came through. We expected: Sure, the cat turned the water on. Denied! 😺
DeleteI'm curious about this joint pot project. Those red pipes don't give anything away. Sounds like a good week. Mine was good but I was busy with a few things for the holidays. When is your daughter coming home? Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteShe has to work her second shift Christmas Day so she'll be arriving the following day mid-afternoon.
DeleteIntriguing! Can't wait to find out what the 'pot project' might be......lol. ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope I might be able to show it with the garden post on Sunday
DeleteI look forward to seeing the pot project. Sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteIt's coming along
DeleteI am sorry, I must have missed it - what did Quill do?
ReplyDeleteAround Halloween, Quill got into the bathroom while no one was around for an hour. He turned the tap on, the bathroom sink filled and then overflowed all over the bathroom floor. The water seeped through the floor and down the walls in the basement. Ceiling tiles were turned to mush
DeletePersonally, I think the insurance agent was just pleased to know you told the truth about what happened and paid the claim for your honesty.
ReplyDeleteI really am curious about the pot project. I hope it's not illegal pot (grin)!
Pot is legal here in Massachusetts 😉
DeleteNo cooking is always a win.
ReplyDeleteIndeed
DeleteSounds like a great week!
ReplyDeleteDo I make it to 5? Truffle butter, nice new people at "work", got two compliments for working, laughed correcting the work document from American to British English - Uh, and as it was yesterday: Ingo came home with a real cool pressie from his company. Post to come, matched the 5 :-)
Sounds like you had a great week, too.
DeleteSounds like a good week. The pot project is looking interesting.
