Most of this week was spent cleaning and decorating for Christmas.
Three flocks of geese were honking as they flew over the cemetery when we brought the wreath to my parents. I caught pictures of two of the flocks
Red sky in the morning and the lawn guy showed up and cleaned up all of the leaves.
How does your garden grow?
Lovely photos of the geese! My garden is not worth mentioning!
ReplyDeleteMine isn't either.
DeleteThat first photo with the birds and clouds is so dramatic. I love it. I need a lawn guy other than the hubby. Smile. It's looking good and I hope you finished your decorating.
ReplyDeleteThe geese went by so fast it was hard to photograph them
DeleteYour morning sky photo is beautiful. It looks like one of those old-timey colorized scenic postcards.

DeleteI love the sound of the Canadian geese as they migrate north/south. :)
ReplyDeleteThere's something haunting about their call
Deletegood morning, lovely photos we really enjoye watching the geese and ducks here too
ReplyDeleteIt's always an amazing sight how they fly in formation and call to one another.
DeleteYour photos are so beautiful, I love the photos of the birds.

It's too bad the second bird photo is blurry
DeleteI do like your morning sky photograph.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
The light was so pretty that morning
DeleteI haven't seen or heard geese since we gave up our caravan garden, which as you know, I used to love! We did have a nice walk at Fletcher Moss on Thursday though, hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI just love the sound of Fletcher Moss
DeleteBeautiful last pic.
ReplyDeleteHaven´t been to my parent´s grave in 2 years, thanks, "Corinna". But they´re always in my heart. And on pics all around here. Just need to look up...
I try to get to the cemetery twice a year. At Christmas to bring a wreath and during the Summer near their anniversary. They are always with me, too.
DeleteYour garden looks better than mine. Don't get me started on Canadian geese. They refuse to leave because they are used to people feeding them in my neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteI know they can be a nuisance, but they are so beautiful when they fly in formation.
Deletewow leaves all gone. Someone needs to come here and rake them up. Actually I did a week ago but my wild lilac tree is still dropping beautiful yellow hearts all over the place.
ReplyDeleteYellow hearts scattered across the lawn must be so pretty
DeleteGorgeous photos! Big Hugs!
