How Does Your Garden Grow?

Himself bought a tool caddy that fits over a 5 gallon bucket so he can tote things around with his garden cart. Happy Father's Day, Kid! 😺

Everyone is interested in watching what Timex is up to

  1. The garden is looking very nice and green. I like the hubby's new garden cart. That looks like a fun new toy. I hope he has a nice Father's Day. hugs-Erika

    1. The cart makes it easier for Himself to garden. He can sit down when he needs to. Father's Day plans include going for lobster rolls.

  2. Squirrels and chipmunks are fun to watch once you get past the damage they do. I like to think of them as cleaning up the ground during the day so there's nothing left to tempt rats at night ;) I'd love to see a bunny! That tool cart looks handy.

I've rigged up one of those round plastic lawn sprinklers on top of my bird bath to provide a fountain of sorts. I turn it on low for an hour twice a day to see if it'll attract any new birds.

    1. Let me know if the sprinkler fountain works. Sounds like a good idea especially in the heatwave

  4. CJ i love that seat to scoot around on! Wherever did you find it? I love buckets to work around my yard ... Cute little bunnies... MY garden .... remember all i have is dirt and weeds.. at the moment.. BUT! i now have about 7 or 8 volunteer wild sunflowers!!! I weedeated around them and am letting them grow.. One even graced me with a flower already! Hubby poured melted water from his cooler on it and poof! a flower the next day!! I'm happy i recognized the leaves amongst the other weeds.. Actually so many pretty weed flowers here.. It temps me to let many of them grow but when they go to seed that would be a disaster so i try to keep them down with the weedeater at the moment.. But wild sunflowers AND wild purple verbena get a free pass... lol Hugs! deb

  5. I got the garden cart/scooter from Amazon
It doesn't come with the 5 gallon bucket. Wild sunflowers and verbena would get a pass from me, too. The chipmunks ate the sunflower seeds I planted.

  7. wow nice cart! I would have loved that when I had an acre to help take care of with my five guys. Although once they all left except Mike we had a lot of yard work to do - that would have been really handy. Yard is looking good.

  8. Who's watching the watchers (Callie and Quill)? Bunnies can be sop destructive. They or the squirrels dug up my sunflower seeds and now I've planted more where they can't get to them. That'll teach the little thieves!

What a great Father's Day gift. Himself is all set and ready for anything now. And I don't believe it, but I'm all caught up.

I planted something that grows, but I forgot what it was - the note flew away.

    1. It got really chilly this weekend. Felt more like late October instead of mid-June.
