I'm not a snake fan, but we have lots of garter snakes around my yard. They're OK if they don't surprise me. I've never named mine though; that might mean I like them. Smile. Are you getting any weather today? Tuesday sounds terrible...AUGH! hugs-Erika
I'm sure mine would be a rattler of some kind .. maybe the Diamondback Rattler.. i'll have to look.. I don't mind garter snakes.. they do a lot of good.. I'm sorry you have more snow coming your way.. I would LOVE it but i know you must be tired of it.. Hugs! deb
I used to see garter snakes in MO, but not here in KS. You have a state recognition for seemingly everything. Glad you like to name your critters. I had enough trouble naming Bleubeard, I would fail badly on naming much of anything else.
I haven't seen a snake in ages, but back when we had an actual yard of some size I used to see them. Sometimes I'd get to handle them, though the garter snakes were never happy about it...
Oh, cute! What happened to Mr. Scaley?
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Mr. Scaley in a few years. He must have moved

ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm still hoping it blows out to sea. GFS has us in a 5-9in and the European in a 5-11in. Either way it sounds like not fun. 😾
DeleteWe have a snake too, although (strangely enough) we haven't named him! LOL
ReplyDeleteI seem to name everything
DeleteI'm scared of snakes, sorry Mr Scaley! Happy Weekend, Valerie
ReplyDeleteMr. Scaley is completely harmless
DeleteYikes...not sure that we have a state reptile...although I think we have a state critter for just about everything else...
ReplyDeleteWhat state?

ReplyDeleteYikes on the rattler. Snow fatigue is more like it.

ReplyDeleteNaming just takes practice

ReplyDeleteYou must be fast because the minute I've spotted Mr. Scaley, he dashes off before I can blink
