On the left, Ascemic writing
On the right: "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are." - Anais Nin
If I had thought about this ahead of time, I would have waited to punch the hole so the button would have appeared in the opening.
Your book came out great. You finished it off nicely too. Hope your mentally prepared for the storm. I'm not-smile.
ReplyDeleteWhenever we (mostly me) make negative comments, we always say about the person, "aren't you a Gretchen Sunshine." Well, Gretchen is not happy about the storm. 😺
DeleteIt turned out well!
ReplyDeleteIt did. I'm pleased with it
DeleteWe have a freeze watch in effect, go figure lol, but we have sunshine today so there's some joy :)
ReplyDeleteWhat do you do with this finished book?
Freeze watch? I thought you were getting wild thunderstorms.
DeleteThe book goes in a bag where my finished books are kept. Sometimes, I take them out to pet them. Sometimes, I take them to class as samples for students to see what can be done with a hand-made book.
I love the way you've went light on the color. It makes what is there pop.

DeleteFabulous books, and I love the quote from Anais Nin. Another treasure, indeed! Valerie
ReplyDeleteThat was a really good quote Jacqueline found
Deletethecontemplativecat@blogspot. My love affair with Google and/or Blogspot is officially over. Can't go anywhere else, so I complain. ""We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are." is excellent.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great quote
DeleteI love the calligraphy! Wish I could do that... and the quote is great as well - great work altogether!

DeleteThis turned out great. You can be really proud of your finished project. I see what you mean about the square. It must have required a bit of fiddling to get the button in the hole.
