Whatcha Doin?

I thought I was going to be outside shoveling the walk and stairs. The plow guy showed up very early this morning. He plowed the driveway and even shoveled the walk and stairs.

All I have to do is clean off the car, but first a cup of tea. Temps are supposed to get above freezing today so if I wait long enough, some of the snow will melt and there won't be so much snow to move.

Whatcha doin?

    1. The sun just came out and a warmup later in the week so a lot of the snow will melt.

  2. The high today is supposed to be in the mid-50s with sunshine, so I'm planning on going to a local botanic gardens and down to Cherry Road to see the trees in bloom. No chance of snow here.

  3. I want your plow guy to come to my house-smile. That was the best of him. How much snow did you get? Channel 9 says we had 22 inches in my town, but I think it was more like a foot at my house. That might be small blessings but 12 is better than 22 when it comes to shoveling and melting. Enjoy the sun. hugs-Erika

    1. The plow guy showing up was unexpected because it didn't look like there was very much snow. Depending on where I measured there were 4 to 6 inches of snow. 4 inches on the side of the walk, 4 inches on the hood of the car, and 6 inches on the roof. Not complaining it was much better than the 6-10 in. of snow forecasted. I just moved the car and will let the snow melt it off.

    1. Oh, no! And that is outrageous! What happens if someone lived in the house that had acute medical problems and needed quick access to emergency services? The down side of a cellphone is you don't get routed to your local police/fire if you dial 911. The call first goes to the local state police and then they contact the local emergency services. That's precious time that is lost. I'd call to complain and/or if possible change my phone/internet service

    2. I agree! Right now we are using my husband's work cell, but my mom is an issue because she insists on living alone and if she needs to get a hold of me or anything it is a problem as well.

    4. Wow, Deb. That's a mild breeze where you live. We had constant speeds of 46 mph and gusts up to 60 mph today. Tonight we are in the deep freeze.

  9. You do have a good plow guy.

Meanwhile in my part of the UK we had a nice spring-like day, I hope it stay like that for a bit longer ... we shall see.

    All the best Jan
