1. Paid the deposit for the acanthus leaf workshop on Enders Island in September
2. Sent birthday wishes to my friend, S in California. She called, and we had a nice chat catching up.
3. I brought a birthday party to Teague: Boston Cream Pie, a candle, flowers with a birthday balloon, and a card. She's now the same age I am.
4. Spent a pleasant afternoon working on a new drawing.
5. Lovely anniversary lunch at new to us Giacomo's in Wayland
How was your week?
Goodness, you not only had a lovely week, you passed on the love and well wishes to two of your friends. Nothing better than that, I'm sure. LOVE that leaf.
ReplyDeleteWish I had YOUR temps. Our low is higher than your high today!
I wish I had your temps. especially for the week at the beach.
DeleteYou do NOT want 107 F, even at the beach, dear CJ. It is miserable when you go outside. Too hot for humans and especially animals.
DeleteI thought your temps were in the 90s not triple digits
DeleteNice week CJ. My week was great but very quiet. I had a lot of home time which meant art and hammock time. But those are good things. :) We didn't get much in the way of storms yesterday. Hope you didn't either. I heard about the tornado down in Providence. Have a great Saturday!
ReplyDeleteDid you see the news footage? Someone caught the tornado as it was crossing 295 and lifted a woman's car and spun it around! 😱
DeleteGlad you had a good week!
ReplyDeleteI hope yours was equally marvelous

Hope you have a beautiful week CJ! Hugs! deb
Boston Cream Pie is Teague's favorite dessert. I don't think I've ever had Shoofly Pie. You've been busy. Love the gold tees. So thoughtful of you.
