Before leaving the topiary, we stopped at the little, gift shop. I saw these very cute teacup and luncheon sets with a sweet, black bear peeking in the cup.
Though the luncheon set was cute and unusual with the wavy plates, I decided I didn't really have a use for them. Instead, I chose an adorable, black bear ornament. Not that I really have a use for him, but he does look sweet on the Seussical tree in the studio.

I love tea time :D
ReplyDeleteMe, too.
DeleteI love those cups with the wavy plates.Have a great day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI was so tempted to buy them, but not really practical in my household
DeleteCute! 😁
ReplyDelete😊
DeleteYou sure are strong not falling for that bear - he´s soooo cute looking into the cup!
ReplyDeleteHe was adorable. It wasn't strength, just a good thing I didn't have more money with me. 😺
DeleteSo cute, but I like the plates.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tea Day,
Kate
I like the plates, too, but they would have just collected dust in the curio cabinet
DeleteMy daughter loves those little luncheon sets but doesn't have one anything like that. Cool! Happy T Tuesday
ReplyDeleteI just checked to see if you could buy them online, but sadly, no
DeleteCute plates but I'm with you, I would have no use for them or any place to store them. LOL But what fun to use them for a bit. Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteForever in use on the blog 😺
DeleteI once had some plates like that (if I remember correctly) and they were a real challenge to store since they didn't stack with anything else. Gift shops are so full of temptations to have a cluttered house!
ReplyDeletebest, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
And all I could think of if I bought the dishes would be one day my girlies would be throwing them away
DeleteThose plates with the bears made me smile. I can understand not buying them. I have a lot of those dust catchers, too. However, that cute little bear was perfect for your little tree. Thanks for sharing the plates and cups with us, as well as your new bear, for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.
ReplyDeleteI thought the bear set was so adorable. A real temptation not to buy one just for me.
DeleteThose tea cups are cute, but they definitely take up more space than that cute little bear. :) I like him and I like your Seussical tree too. I hope it was happy t day and you didn't have a lot of clouds today.
ReplyDeleteIt was a pleasant day
DeleteThe teacup/luncheon set is awfully cute and so is the ornament:)
ReplyDeleteHard to pick just one
DeleteHow adorable! Those teacup and luncheon sets with the cute black bear peeking in sound absolutely charming. It's always a joy to come across unique and delightful items in little gift shops. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteThey had so many lovely things.
