Make Way For Goslings
While dropping Himself off for work at Worcester Polytech Institute, I got stuck in a traffic jam on Salisbury St. waiting for geese to make up their minds whether or not to cross the street. Fortunately, the fire hydrant decided to stay put.
"Look! We can make them stop their giant machines and wait for us to meander across the street!" (I just hope they keep in mind that with great power comes great responsibility! 🤣🤣🤣🤣)
One would cross. Two would start across. Stand in the middle of the street. Turn to go back to the sidewalk. Then turn around to cross again. Great power 😸
That's a busy road for the geese to cross. I'm glad they all made it. Happy Monday. Don't get blown away today. :)
ReplyDeleteCars stopped. The geese just wove in and out.
DeleteLove it.

DeleteVery funny, glad everybody was willing to wait!
ReplyDeleteIt also helped there was a lot of traffic so not many cars could get through the intersection when the light changed.
DeleteRight of way for ducks and geese!
ReplyDeleteAnd turkeys. Some crossed the road on my way home
DeleteSame here in my neighborhood, except mine has Canadian geese. They stop traffic everywhere. They are truly aware of their power, I believe.
ReplyDeleteThat made me laugh.
DeleteSo pleased everyone waited while they crossed.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
It must happen so often because none of the cars were tooting horns.
