Humidity still reigns and the shower wall glues still hasn't dried and feels like putty. The contractor removed the wall brace and thinks the wall will hold. If it should buckle, he will remove the wall, scrape off the glue and use another product, but he doesn' t think he will have to.
After a few horses' patoots, he was able to install the new toilet manufactured by Toto. The waterline had to be moved which he knew about and was not a problem, but the toilet had to sit on a special flange which proved to be a witchy kitty.
The wall tile dried perfectly in spite of the humidity so the first half dozen courses were set.
The bathroom is starting to take shape. The shower, toilet and floor look great. The room is looking less ugly.
It's really coming together. So clean and sharp. Hopefully the wall glue will stick and the shower will be a complete project too.
ReplyDeleteThe tile looks lively! Hope the glue dries hard as cement.
