The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. Himself and I enjoyed the premiere of Season 3 of Outlander. It didn't disappoint.

2. Paid off the loan we took out for the Eldest's education. Woo hoo! One down. Two loans for the Young One to go!

3. The Young One had a visit with the GI. There is slow improvement, he wants her to continue another round of antibiotics and super probiotic.

4. Her blood tests came back normal.

5.Happy mail in the mailbox.

How was your week?

  3. I swear I live under a rock, because I've never heard of Outlander. But, I don't get the premium channels anyway.

Always good to pay off any bill, much less a college loan. Those things end up costing so much, because they seem so cheap when people apply for them.

Sounds like the young one is well on her way to recovery. That's a great way to end the week!

    1. 20 years before premium channels and teleplays, Outlander was written by Diane Gabaldon. There are now 7 more books to the series, along with a few spinoff novels she created about another character from the series. Excellent sci-fi, historical, adventure, romance series.

  4. Glad the Young One is feeling better. Antibiotics always help me. (next I'm going to try fermented food...'they' say it's the SYNBIOTIC's the fermentation process produces....we'll see.)

    1. She's been sick since March. This is the 2nd round of antibiotics. She has improved since then though has lost nearly 50 lbs. The problem with food now, is trying to get her to eat as she's always nauseous. Hopefully, improvement will continue and at a faster pace.
