Five good things that happened this week
1.The plumber installed the hydrogen peroxide filter thing to the hot water tank to control the sulfur smell in the hot water. Fingers crossed this works.
2. Made my maiden voyage in Moose to the post office. Nice ride, nice pick up. I feel like one of the big boys now.
3. Pleased I was able to finish the VooDoo doll so I would have a Tuesday blog post.
4. After my dental check up, we stopped at Harry's for take-out
5. Before running off for errands, I picked up the mail in the mailbox. When I went to put on my mask, I couldn't find my ear saver. Found it when we got back home. I dropped it by the mailbox. I could have easily made another, but I really liked the buttons.
How was your week?
A good week.
ReplyDeleteHappily most weeks are good weeks 😊
DeleteSounds good. Glad you didn't lose your ear thinggy. Take out is always good, yummy! Have a nice weekend, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I didn't lose my ear thingy. The buttons are metal, mismatched, and I really like the buttons
DeleteWe have a high sulfur content in our water here too. The city filters it and we double filter it. So far, so good! Hope the peroxide helps you! :D
ReplyDelete🤞
DeleteYou’ve got your inaugural drive successfully completed. May the open road have all good things for you.🚙☘️😘
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteIsn't it nice when things work out!
ReplyDeleteTo quote Hannibal: i love it when a plan comes together

ReplyDeleteCheers
Glad that gave you a chuckle
DeleteNice week CJ. Mine was good also. I didn't have to be in a classroom as the kids came back. That makes me happy for sure!
ReplyDeleteYou picked a good time to retire. I feel bad for teachers that have to teach in person. Schools are a germ factory even without Covid.
DeleteA few things I don't know what you mean like "moose" and "ear saver". And hope that thing over the hot water thing works. I'm thinking Moose is a car..and ear saver..no clue, lol
ReplyDeleteWe got a new Rav4 Hybrid. It’s bigger than the car I was used to, so I named the car Moose. And ear savers make a mask a little more comfortable to wear https://cjkennedyink.blogspot.com/2020/09/t-stands-for-mask-comfort.html
Deleteyes now i remember!! I haven't had a new car in a long time. Yours sounds nice. Last one we bought was a used jeep in 2013 and it's held up well. Just this month we have to get new tires for winter.
DeleteFabulous week! Glad you enjoyed driving Moose, that's such a great name for a car - love it 😀. Good that you found your favourite ear saver for your mask too! Take care! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteMoose suits the car perfectly
DeleteOne thing we DON'T seem to have here is sulfur. I hope it works for you. Here, we get green algae. I think I'd rather have sulfur than the green water that comes out of my faucet at certain times of the year.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had yet another great week, dear.
No, you really wouldn't want the sulfur smell.
DeleteVoodoo doll? Cool!
ReplyDeleteCJ, I am going to go through the rest of your posts, to see what you have been up to. I might not comment, but I want to look! Thanks for always coming by my blog! Means alot! Big Hugs!
