The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

 1. Petunias were looking a bit scraggly so replaced them with some   yellow mums

 2. Had a nice Skype visit with Nan

 3. Was thrilled when the Young One gave me MacTavish, the   Scottie dog she made from Ma's Persian Lamb coat.

 4. In an abundance of caution, Himself's college will be teaching   remote classes again for the 2021 semester (January - May). I'm so   glad the president of the college is looking out for the safety and   welfare of staff, faculty, and students.

 5. I had an amazing breakfast shake that tasted like carrot cake.

  How was your week?

    1. Veggies didn't do well because of the drought. Though we have an abundance of cherry tomatoes so that's a good thing. And Go Cam! 😺

  4. Hurrah for Worcester State having the foresight to stay remote. That has to be a huge relief to you. My brother teaches at Wentworth and he says that remote works well for them so I am guessing maybe true for your husband also>. You've have had a good week, Enjoy the weekend, though I am guessing you'll be sad with these colder temperatures. Hugs-Erika

  7. It's good the school is taking the better-sage-than-sorry approach. Yellow mums are perfect for fall :)

    1. I’m glad they are taking extra precautions. Since the school is a commuter school, there’s really no way of monitoring the students, where they go, what they do.

  9. I LOVE carrot cake, so I would love a shake that tasted like carrot cake. Sounds like the your husband is teaching at the right school. Too bad so many universities are not as forward thinking as the one where your husband teaches.

Sounds like you had a really good week.
