How Does Your Garden Grow?

 Lots of pictures this week.

A little chickadee stops by for a visit. He helped himself to a snack of whatever seeds or bugs were in the planter.

Common Bugles come in white

A new addition to Ink's garden

A solar powered water fountain. The birdbath wasn't deep enough so I recycled an empty cookie tub. The water doesn't recirculate as well as I thought it would. We need a bigger dessert.

Om the Gnome sitting in the lotus position and practicing yoga and mindfulness. Namaste.

The way I like to garden. Flowers selected and planted in a tub. Remove from the tub and put in a hanging basket or in the garden.

Walk, the stink bug is back cruising along the ceiling of the sun room.

What I thought was a ladybug on the wall of the sun room turned out to be a rusty screw. I guess it's time to make an appointment with the eye doctor.

Hard to see the window box treatment from the street

Inside the window box, a little cat gargoyle. I wish he was just a little bit bigger

Himself's Brother came over and they got the frame of the greenhouse built. I added a bit of decoration.

Snowball bushes starting to bloom

I don't mind these snowflakes

Wild strawberry

Buttercups to hold under your chin to see if you like butter.

Hanging baskets for Ink's garden just in case the morning glory seeds don't come up

One of the morning glory seeds sprouted! It's the leaf on the left that looks like a butterfly

Last week, the leaves on the trees in the wood were sparse. This week, bam! All the leaves have filled in.

Lettuce in the trough

and other green thing and climbing sweet peas

Twilight, the solar lantern glows

and the runway is lit for the fairies

  1. A chickadee! What a treat! We got them during our Big Freeze with all that snow we had, and we got a pair recently when they must've been feeding young. They're rare on our patio.

I wish I could use a solar-powered re-circulator, but there's just not enough sun for enough of the year. I'm looking at a dripper that'll attach to the side of the bird bath.

I'm excited about your greenhouse. You have such a great space for it!

    Namaste.

    1. The greenhouse fit between the house and the Zensical garden and is just a few steps from the sun room slider for easy access

  2. I laughed at your decorating the green house frame. Looks good and I'm delighted the frame is finally built. It will be great for later in the year and when the snow blows.

I've never seen a chickadee here. Lucky you. Love the snowballs. Lovely green yard and wonderful looking lettuce, too. Your garden grows beautifully.
